Le Mans 2000

The C5-R comes from the 5th generation production Corvette. The C5-R was built and developed by GM racing partner Pratt & Miller in Detroit. The LS1 based engine runs a CR of 12.5:1,bore/stroke of 4.24 X 4.0 inches (6980 cc). The engine is rated at 620 HP and 495 lbs/ft of torque with overall weight of 2510 lbs thus giving the power to weight ratio of just over 4 lbs per HP. The C5-R will easily top out at over 200 MPH..... I want a street version, would settle for 425-450 HP with Z06 wheels/tires, suspension and the new 6 speed tranny.
